A membership association of this kind is not a 501(c)(3), and we would rather say so here than have you find out at tax time. If you want a deductible gift, tell us and we will point you to the right vehicle once it exists.
We publish where the money goes. Every disbursement from the emergency fund appears in the public case ledger with the vendor paid and the receipt filed. Operating spending is published in the annual report.
